Al Qaeda bomber killed twice in two years?

Midhat Mursi, a notorious Al-Qaeda bomb maker, appears to have been killed twice in two years.
My intuition is that there is some strange intelligence work going on here, and that disinformation is being fed between competing intelligence agencies.
Several possibilities and questions come to mind:
1) The news organizations are to some degree incompetent, and stories are run at different times due to this. To my mind, this is the least likely scenario.
2) There were TWO bomb makers with the same name. But, what are the odds that Al-Qaeda, an organization of several thousand, has two master bomb makers in the same area of the world with the same name? Not very good, though who’s to really know much about terrorist networks on the other side of the world?
3) Stories are being planted locally by Pakistani/CIA intelligence to deliberately misinform. This seems probable. An “anonymous” Pakistani intelligence agent offers the information? Why should it be believed? There was a drone attack “success” here, obviously. This story seems spun to promote further drone attacks in Pakistan, and to gain local support for the attacks on Pakistani soil. The Pakistanis have their man (twice), and the U.S. can report a successful operation to the U.S. citizenry. Given no clear mission in Pakistan/Afghanistan, it is necessary to connect the mission to the original source of the mission–Al Qaeda terrorists. If this connection is made even once or twice a year, the horror of 9/11 can be retriggered to some extent, building implicit nervous system support from the populace for the operation. Just remember that “good” is being done, and never mind the man behind the curtain.

It sounds like there is a deliberate, illegal propaganda campaign being waged against not only the American, but also the Pakistani people. These Al-Qaeda leaders come and go, are killed, resurrected, killed again, end up in Guantanamo Bay, tortured and admitting that they gave birth to their own mother. Who exactly are these men that are used to further specific war time agendas? Keep aware of who is reporting this information, and who profits from distribution of the information. I honestly can’t say what’s going on here…I’m confused by stories like this.

Underground Hypnosis…Is this for Real?
Posted by: | CommentsUnderground “Black Ops” Hypnosis? This can’t be for real, I thought. I study the use of propaganda in history, and the use of hypnosis in marketing. I work in the field of Internet advertising, and think of myself as aware of how my mind can be manipulated through directed marketing.
So, as I was researching the subject of mind control for a paper I am writing, I was surprised to run across a program that made many astonishing claims, and labeled itself a “black ops” hypnosis program.
The material is called “Underground Hypnosis” and was developed by an author named Taylor Starr. Starr claims that he can teach anyone how to instantly hypnotize someone…without them even knowing!
It sounds unbelievable, and I was a skeptic, until I realized that the fact that I was viewing his program’s pitch page was proof that the techniques had worked! The techniques are powerful (and easy to learn). Starr promotes methods for instilling feelings of confidence, and using that feeling as an anchor point for further work. Practitioners of the “black ops” method are basically working to stay one step ahead of the “target” of “mind control”. Simple techniques are offered to undermine confidence in the “target”, and to use that as a starting point for being a “black mirror”, basically allowing the target to speak to themselves.
The program is broken into two sections:
1. Social Proof Techniques
2. Black Ops Techniques
Social proof techniques let you become the “alpha” in any situation. Starr wants you to imagine people instantly liking you because you easily convince them that you are an entertaining and fun person. Exercises are offered to help you to instill confidence in yourself. Imagine the following: you play a game rock paper scissors at a party and _win_ every time because of your use of embedded commands that _force_ the other person to lose. This is a simple example of a social proof technique. The use of simple tricks such as this opens the way for further demonstrations of the power of hypnosis. The “targets” say to themselves “If this person knows how to trick people into LOSING a simple game like this”, they become more curious… start opening up…become more easily convinced of what you are saying…
Black Ops techniques are designed to help practitioners achieve success as they define it in _any_situation. An example of a Black Ops Technique is the Black Ops Handshake. This is where you use a special form of a handshake that will interrupt your target’s brain patterns. During this split second “pattern interrupt” you can induce him or her into a trance instantly. (You might have seen hypnosis expert Derren Brown use this on TV). Starr discusses in detail how you might, for example, work with your boss to get a raise.
These are just a couple quick examples of how this interesting underground knowledge is used.
There are some useful ideas promoted in the program, and I like Starr’s promotion of intelligence and outwitting your “target” so as to be able to achieve your ends.

I’ve been studying propaganda and mind control techniques for a long period of time through use of meditation, shamanistic ritual techniques and martial arts. I’m interested in learning how people control their intentionality, and how I can always make fully informed decisions, unclouded by the fog of propaganda. I see Internet Marketing as a form of propaganda. If done correctly, the “sell” should be subtle and seamlessly integrated into the content of a message.
My primary question is this…how are propaganda and hypnosis being used by today’s top Internet marketers? The question can further be framed like this: how can I convince you to buy what I have for sale? How can I convince you that you _need_ my product? Here’s a link to a video that demonstrates one method of advertising that is especially pernicious. Watch carefully what’s going on in this following video: note that master advertisers can _themselves_ be subliminally influenced.

Wow! Did you see how the image of the bear and heavenly gates were brought into focus in the advertiser’s minds?
That was one technique, planting images, subliminally registered by the advertisers. Some inevitably were missed during their journey, but I think you can see the point of his experiment. The advertisers “freely” chose to develop an advertising campaign _exactly_ as he had written it before hand. Amazing stuff. You can find more Derren Brown videos on Youtube — I find his work truly enlightening.
The website Twitter is currently being used as a tool for marketers fluent in techniques of hypnosis and neuro-linguistic programming. Note that if you sign up for Twitter, you will immediately begin receiving follower requests. If you decide to follow someone, inevitably you will receive an email thanking you for the follow. Usually the message is followed by a link to “How to get 16,000 Twitter followers in 30 days” or other direct links to product/marketing sites that the individual runs. Okay as far as it goes. I do use an auto-reply DM for Twitter that points followers to my Blog, but I don’t advertise directly there. It seems tacky to have my first encounter state in effect “Hi, my name is Matthew, please buy my stuff”. I can not imagine saying this to someone that I meet in person. It would be interpreted as rude, and I think the culture of Twitter should try to root this out through subtle persuasion over time. Note, however, that the motivation of the Twitterites exploiting this technique is to
1) develop a marketing list quickly to which ad materials are distributed, and
2) to have a ready made product available for sale that demonstrates exactly _how_ you can develop a marketing list quickly using Twitter.
Gentle persuasion is being used addressed to an underlying motivation and desire. Let’s see if this tool works. Check out this advertising copy.

Advertising can promote healthy communities, successful business, needed products, and marketers inevitably will be drawn toward learning more about how other advertisers are using hypnosis to take advantage of consumers and to make money in today’s depressed economy. To take full advantage of the work of scientists, psychiatrists, and government propagandists in your marketing work, you’ll need sources of information keeping you up to date on the latest mind control techniques and propagandistic machinations at work in the marketplace. This is intense work already being done to _control_ you without your consent. Do you want to know how it is accomplished? How subliminal advertising works to influence your behavior every day?

This book is, indeed, packed with very interesting material, just the sort of information that will help meet your goal of making one million dollars. I’ll bet some of you will be drawn to learn the Ultimate Success Formula, others to How to Achieve Anything you Want, while others will just drool over learning about self empowerment and effective communication. The material is both relevant and helpful, all very much secret except for those “in the know”, and it succeeds in addressing the reader’s core motivations for purchasing it.

Do I have to build 100 websites to draw in a little income from many niches, or 1 website that will attract so many followers that I’ll have to selectively choose the projects on which I work? Interesting questions, and this material has helped me to find answers.
