@TheHorsenation I keep looking into things like that and i try to tell people some of the stuff i hear and they say oh ur crazy blah blah blah. But there seems to be some part that everyone is missing.

I have to admit though the Germans were very succesful, just that they were ruled by the wrong people, they formed one of the strongest empires in Europe during the late 1800s(though a weak overseas empire). WWI reduced them to near economic collapse, they rose to power again, then WWII turned them into a potato patch, then they rose economically again after the war and still today

Another kosher story about the Communist “victory” over “Nazi” Germany; but no mention about subsequent 50-years of authoritarian rule, driving around in klunky Skodas over archean cobble roads, and living in houses w/ no paint and heated with dirty lignite briquettes. My first bike tour through Czechoslovakia was in 1991 (pre-Czech R.): an eerie and frightening time capsule.
But yeah, a good “victory” over “Nazi” Germany, the most civilized and technologically advanced nation during that time.
